I love this place! The staff are super warm and friendly, its clean, so reasonably priced. But most important of all is the food. Its outstanding. From your morning fry up, to a simple fresh coffee to beat any Starbucks or costa. a burger and chips to beat any of the fast food joints, to proper grilled shish kebabs, salads, paninis, lunches, even roast dinners! I dont know how they do it all and do it so well and yet so quick and tasty! The snobby stuck up herbal tea brigade who have written bad reviews should go back to forest hill or dulwich where they belong and pay 20 for basic cheese sandwich and leave sydenham to those who appreciate it. Chef delight is the diamond of sydenham high street!

Just a really good fry up. A decent amount of food, well priced and boss man was very friendly. Egg nice and runny. Crispy hash browns. Perfect amount of beans. Sorted my hangover out instantly on Sunday afternoon. Thanks lads.

I walked in cautiously because I've been disappointed by cafes lately. But not this one, it's got a bright modern look, with stunning food and excellent customer service. I love the energy and vibe they give off. Will be returning soon.
My partner and I have been visiting Chef's Delight since we moved to Sydenham almost seven years ago. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. The restaurant offers a wide range of different meals, snacks, desserts, and drinks, which are great value for money. Update: Chef's Delight recently underwent refurbishment; and improvements have been made, including windows that open to let more air in during the hot weather. Our last visit was on my birthday last week (Friday 24th November). The photo attached is me enjoying one of their delicious cherry sundaes. Can't wait to come back very soon!
